The first ‘smartphone’ of South Korea with dual camera is now on sale in Spain for 1,010 euros | The Galaxy S8 is priced at 809 euros; 909 in Plus version
Samsung has introduced its two ‘smartphones’ in less than six months so far. This is the Samsung Galaxy S8 (and its Plus version), which launched last April, and Galaxy Note 8 that just introduced in August and goes on sale this Friday, September 15.
We know that both are two high-end terminals with novel features, and with a very high price in both cases but … which one deserves more?
S8: With a Super AMOLED 5.8-inch curved display of the edge models of the past, the S8 presumes to be one of the most stylish mobiles of the moment. It includes the industry’s first 10nm chip, allowing high speed and efficiency when using it. Ultimate Octa-core processor 2.3 GHz + 1.7 GHz and a RAM of 4 GB. Its internal memory is 64 GB expandable with microSD up to 256 GB. 3.000 mAh battery.
Note 8: also features Super AMOLED ‘Infinity Display’, without frames. It is larger: 6.3 inches, similar to the Plus version of the S8 (6.2 “). Also, includes 10nm chip. Increases the capacity of 6 GB of RAM, but the internal memory is the same: 64 GB of storage expandable memory to 256 GB via microSD. 3.200 mAh battery.
S8: Rear of 12 megapixels with a lens with OIS (optical stabilization) and f1.7. The front of 8 megapixels with f1.7, autofocus.
Note 8: This is the first time Samsung has included a dual camera on one of its phones. The front camera carries an 8 MP sensor and aperture f1.7. The rear is the dual system: telephoto 12 MP autofocus and f2.4 + wide-angle 12 MP dual pixel and f1.7. Both sensors have OIS (optical stabilization). Also, 2X optical zoom and 10X digital zoom.
S8: Modern appearance with rounded corners and care details. This is available in four colors: black, silver, gray and coral blue.
Note 8: It looks more sober and square than the S8. This is available in 4 colors: black, gray, blue and gold.
S8: IP68 resistance to water and dust. Fast and wireless charging capabilities.
